Yuri Psinakis is a self-taught artist, curator, and producer living and working in San Francisco and Manila, Philippines. For Scion, five years ago, Yuri curated NeoPlural: Contemporary Bay Area Art, which featured 14 artists working in different media whose commitment to individual aesthetic represented the wild diversity of Bay Area art. With USE ME, the Scion Installation Space will be articulated with functional objects, or their inspiration, materialized by designers whose work is informed through close relationships--with friends, clients, patrons, and their own passions.
