Originally known as “Cryptic Warning,” these longhaired head bangers pride themselves as being part of the technical death metal subgenre, otherwise known as tech-death. Hitting the scenes in the year 2000, the band is now recognized with the name “Revocation,” and was founded by guitarist and vocalist David Davidson, bassist and vocalist Anthony Buda and drummer Phil Dubois-Coyne. The bands coarse, abrasive vocals paired with complex drumbeats and shredding guitar solos, pulled their influence from iconic bands, Guns N’ Roses and Metallica. They are here to remind fans just how hard they can still slash your speakers.
