elYem navigates through a multi-media platform where information (data) and art intersect. The result is a visual experiment that tests the icons of the culture industry. His work involves a participation in which Theodor Adorno claims that it goes under the name of terror in mass culture. elYEM is a pioneer of the Los Angeles graffiti movement but maintains unclassifiable work ethic. He is collected by Denis Hopper, Ryan Gosling and through out France and Switzerland . He is self taught. Lives and works out of Los Angeles.
