Over the Top
The brainchild of Los Angeles-based producers Joaquin and Froskees. Joaquin has been a mainstay in the L.A. club scene for over five years. He was been a resident at countless clubs, including one of the city's most successful and long running electronic dance music clubs: Dance at The Arena. Joaquin has graced the decks alongside the likes of Skrillex, DJ AM, Jack Beats, Steve Aoki, Treasure Fingers, Classixx, 12th Planet and many more. Froskees has sound engineered and co-produced numerous tracks for L.A. favorites such as Hyphy Crunk and a slew of others and maintained residencies at successful local clubs such as the Heist and Infamy. He also was recently featured mixing on Power 106's "Power Tools" show with Richard Vission and Swedish Egil.
The duo found that emerging dance music sounds were devoid of the funk that fused much of their favorite music growing up. They set out to make house music that captured the essence of late 70s and early 80s funk, soul, and r&b. Producing under the guise of "Lincoln Hawk", Joaquin and Froskees have anonymously created a buzz in the dance world in just a few of months in existence with Over the Top.
