Sky-high somewhere between Los Angeles and Chicago, DJ DS salutes early Dance Mania and DJ Quik alike. Foul-mouthed babies chant over 909 rhythms while thick acid lines give way to whistling G-Funk. With many original tracks and remixes, DJ DS is a loud declaration of the Body High aesthetic: forward and at times bizarre club music that sacrifices nothing in true and up-front bangingness.
