Alexandra Becket
Alexandra Becket creates hand-painted fabric wall hangings and large scale paintings, inspired by modernist architecture and the landscape of California. She is also a prolific textile designer, designing prints for home décor accessories and interiors. Her grandfather, architect Welton Becket, designed some of Los Angeles’s most iconic buildings, including Capitol Records, the LAX Theme Building and many other cultural and civil buildings. Alexandra’s work incorporates mid-century influences, including many of her grandfather’s buildings.
