Hailing from Queens, NY, Black Sheep is comprised of members Andres "Dres" Titus and William "Mista Lawnge" McLean. The group was affiliated with the Native Tongues Posse, a collective of hip hop groups that promoted consciousness through their lyrics. They debuted in 1991 with the hit single "Flavor of the Month" and followed up with hip hop classic "The Choice Is Yours."-
