Our Man on the Street, Sal Barbier, headed over Scion’s Southern California headquarters as the all-new Scion iA and the Scion iM were introduced to a select collection of influencers. Not only were these new Scion models on display, but guests could also check out some classics from the Toyota Museum, including Scion AV project cars like the Riley Hawk’s Skate Tour xB and Slayer’s Mobile Amp tC.
As a part of this event, guests had to bring their own righteous car to show off, of any make or model. Barbier took them all in, including Rob Panlilio of Crooks & Castles’ overfender-kitted Ferrari 458 Italia, Slick and Page of the Seventh Letters’ fleet of big ol’ Chevys, Bobby Hundreds of The Hundreds’ DeLorean, and Dana Sassenberg of Diamond Supply Co’s Chevelle that was built from the ground-up. Artist Retna also reminisced about the Toyota Celica that his mom passed down to him.
The whole thing ends with Barbier leaving in a ride much cooler than the one he came in on.
