“Sewn to the Bone,” the new show and retail project put together by Cody McElroy of Dirty Needle Embroidery, had its opening night reception at Scion AV Installation in Los Angeles last Saturday. We had a blast and so did everyone else who came out, including Dave England of Jackass fame and professional skateboarder Sal Barbier.
It was a great crowd who checked out products and art from Dirty Needle Embroidery, as well as pieces from artisans including Honey Fox Jewelry, Red Cloud Collective and CobraCult. The selection included intricately embroidered shirts, jackets and vests, handmade jewelry and leather products, flasks and motorcycle helmets. The rebel punk Americana vibes were deep, just check out photos from the night below.
