In early October Scion proudly held the fourth annual Scion Music(less) Music Conference in Los Angeles. The event acts as resource to help develop evolving careers in the music industry with interviews, panels & workshops.
At the private opening night reception, the panelists, moderator and workshop leaders watched amazing interviews including Prince Paul in discussion with Cheech Marin, plus talks with Dale Bozzio of Missing Persons and Al Jourgensen of Ministry. Each one of these legends were definitely memorable.
During the following two days at the Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake, guests watched several dozen artists, managers, industry figures, thought leaders, tech company founders, engineers, radio DJs, festival bookers and many more offer their insights. Subjects covered included Music Festivals, The Business of Rap, The Role of Style in Developing an Artist, Merchandising Advancements, YouTube Monetization, Studio Production on a Budget, The State of Records Stores and much more. Asiadog NYC provided the fantastic catering.
Videos of the proceedings will be coming soon, but until then, check out these photos.
