Touché Amoré and Hot Lunch are two of the upstart bands that definitely impressed when they played Scion Rock Fest in Memphis, Tennessee earlier this summer at the free, all-day show. And now you can get a taste of what went down on stage.
Touche Amore draw inspiration from hardcore, but push the sound in unexpected directions on songs like “Amends” from their 2011 album Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me. Their next album, Is Survived By, is expected this fall.
Hot Lunch throws it back even farther, with their boogie-based rockers. On Coyote Ugly’s outdoor stage, the San Francisco crew knocked out “She Wants More” from their self-titled album that was released earlier this year.
