Get Stoked for Rock Fest with Live Clips from Down, Sleep and more!

On Tuesday, we announced the massive lineup for Scion Rock Fest 2013 on June 1 in Memphis, Tennessee, a bone-crushing all-day event headlined by metal gods Testament and The Melvins, plus Municipal Waste, Whitechapel, Corrosion of Conformity and so many more. RSVP for the totally free Rock Fest opens on April 12, but while you wait, practice your goat-throwing with the help of these live videos from Scion Rock Fest 2012.

First up is Down, the band fronted by Phil Anselmo of Pantera and CoC’s Pepper Keenan, performing the utterly heavy “Bury Me in Smoke” off their legendary debut record NOLA.

California stoner doom dudes Sleep get sludgy and psychedelic with the hypnotic shredder “Dragonaut.”

Experimental Japanese noise god Merzbow performs with homemade instruments and tape loops alongside Balasz Pandi and Oxbow.
