Handcrafted Acrylic Jewelry by Plastique Available For Sale at the Scion AV Installation

The Scion AV Installation supports independent artists and their creative visions by hosting monthly exhibitions and offering custom-made products for sale.  All of the proceeds from the sales of these products go either directly back to the artist, or to a charity of their choosing.  Now available at the Scion AV Installation is exquisite handcrafted acrylic jewelry from Jen Murse, Plastique.

Everything is best in threes. This fun and funky ring is made of three layers of acrylic — brown, orange and ivory — cut into teardrop shapes and set together in a fanned out formation.

The ring is cut from three pieces of 3mm acrylic and sticks up approximately 0.35″ above your fingers. It adds a playful and whimsical fashion sense to your style at a low price.

Plastique* is a Los Angeles based jewelry company owned by graphic designer, Jen Murse. The company started as a hobby and grew steadily over time. As a result of Jen’s keen sense for clean design, the pieces have a very modern and minimalistic look to them. All of the jewelry is made from acrylic that has been laser cut. Jen designs and assembles all the jewelry herself. From initial designs on the computer to assembly and packaging, it’s all done piece by piece in her modest office space. As a result, no two pieces are 100% alike.
