Scion AV and Vice present the sixth episode of “Young Americans,” their new series from filmmaker Lance Bangs. We are constantly told, especially in an election year, that the United States is more divided than ever. Bangs gets opinions on whether both parts of this statement are true: are there irreconcilable differences between the U.S.’s two major political parties and has it been this bad before. Next the discussion turns to what can be done to work through these differences and what the changes should be if there were no political barriers to making them happens.
